So lifes like a rollarcoaster!  You have highs and lows, but how do you balance that out?  I’m really trying to figure this out myself!  I feel like I’m either super HIGH or super LOW and sometimes even kill, but rarely!  So right now I’m just trying to figure out this balance that I need to have.  The only way I can do that is by going to God’s word and seeking him first.  Its a challenge but always believe God will come thru! 

Break was amazing but was great to get back to Florida!  You have such a peace when you know your right where God wants you!  That is always so comforting to me!  I ran crazy the entire seeing friends and family!  It was such a joy being around them!  I loved it!!  Gods so good with it!

We are no longer Florida and Alabama 247 but Flabama!  It was such a fun week with both programs coming together as one!  Meeting new friends and hanging out with old ones was great!  We were first seperated into three different teams, so that meant florida and Alabama were mixed.  But even though there were three teams we all were pretty much at the same location the whole time but two days of it! 

We started off our journey at 2 am leaving from Bradenton.  It took about 18 hours to get to the place in Texas we were going to.  We met up in Bama somewhere in Texas and split into our teams!  We got to the Indian reservation and I was in awe of where we would be staying for the week.  A big cabin, I’m used to sleeping on the floor of a shack or a church!  So I was like wow and excited at the same time!  The first week we took down teams and burnt them to the ground!  AT night we had alot of free time playing and getting to know one another.  ONe night we had a volleyball tournment with the Indians.  It was fun!  WE also got to help people from the hurricane with raking up leaves and things like that around their houses!  WE had a blast!  WE also went to a baptist church on the reservation, it was hilarious we all got up and sang from the hymnal and none of us knew the song! 

The second week we went into Mexico to stay at an orphanage!  It was a blast to play with the kids and just love on them for the week we were there!  They also had a bible school on the property so we got to pray each morning at 5 am with the students there.  WE painted alot of the orphanage and played with the kids!! It was a blessing just to hang out and love on kids during the time we were there! 

We had a blast and now can’t wait to be reunited with FlaBaMA!!!!!!!!!!

I’m getting ready to leave for Mexico Missions..I’m more than excited but anxious also!  I’m not the biggest fan of missions but once I get there I’m good!  So I will do my best to update from my phone when I’m in texas for the first part!!  Just please agree with our team and pray for us!  yall are awesome!!!

Many times we get focused on everything thats going on whether its about us or others.  I have found myself wrapped up in ALOT of my own selfishness lately.  Things are well but I get so consumed with my struggles how I can fix them and forget about the people and things around me.  This is not an attitude I want to uphold, God has called each of us to serve one another help one another!  So the big picture of this I am learning alot about where my focus should be.  First it should be God, then others in my life, then deal/work on myself.  Prioritizing is quiet hard at times but Gods good!  I’m ready for change, I’m ready to grow, I’m ready to pour my whole heart into others, I’M JUST READY!!!!!!!!! 

As of life here in Florida, its getting better and better each week!  I miss home still like CRAZY but I’m doing so well here!  God has truly blessed me like no other!  Life is busy here but thats what 247 lifestyle is all about!  I’m def ready for a break but its been amazing here.

The word “Freedom” in Webster’s definition is-The quality or state of being free.
the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action.
liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another .

Today I woke up and freedom was on my mind, its not only my blog that says Freedom Lives In This Place but also is the underlining theme of our teams name in 247 this year.  With that said I have never really sat down and looked at What does Freedom truly mean to me????  Am I free from all sins, bondages, strongholds?? Am I living or setting an example of livestyle of Freedom?  Where do I sit in the midst of this!  Just a thought of where I a right now, and where I’m striving to be is a LIFE FULL OF FREEDOM from all things!  I don’t always have it together wait i NEVER DO, but I can and we all can strive to live a life of Freedom! 

Know that in the midst of finding Freedom the enemy is going to come in and try his hardest to keep you from standing firm.  As it says he comes to steal, kill, and destroy…So stand strong in Gods word thru all things! 

My two cents of the day!!!

Back from Texas!  Long Long Long Long drive home!  I slept maybe 3 hours of the 16!  I was more than excited to get back to Bradenton!  Almost wish it was Arkansas but I know with full confidence I am where I need to be!  Texas was a blast, we did soo much in so little time.=)  The church we stayed at was great!  The people were amazing!  When you gave people a hot meal they were more than happy, some would cry, some would ask how they could bless you and they are the ones in need!! 

I feel really scattered tonight with my thoughts.  So if things don’t make sense just bare with me!!

A quote I heard this past weekend describes exactly where I am right now! Go to the hardest place in life and the biggest struggles and DANCE FOR GOD IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!!! So hard to do, but I’m going Dance and find joy regardless of the situation!

We finished our work n Texas this afternoon! What an amazin trip its been! we are driving as i type back to florida..Im more excited to go back which actually surprised me a bit! I still find myself homesick but not as bad as it was! Im learning and growing thats forsure! will go morw nto details later!

When u wake up to complete strangers walkin thru the hall way @830 in the morning, theres a bit of an issue! the majority of the grls were up already and me and two others still asleep w/ people just starring at you! but last night i fell off my cot and hit stefs, we laughed and rolled back ovr and slept. stef then thinks its so funny i was snoring so she taped it! i nevr knew i was a snorer until this trip! last yr n AR 247 we would make fun of lyndie, which she happened to b my partner inMexico last yr, so i would laugh poke fun ab her snoring, now im the snorer )
today we went to church where were stayn…jus chilled..my part of team had break so i jus read! then went to pass out watr to people and pray for people!
im loving it here and the opportunity God has given us to serve here! Gods working so much in the lives around here! I love seeing changes!
As for my life I’m doin well, tons of challenges in my life but im learning to deal w/ it in a healthier way! learning to trust God more and more daily…but time to chill w/ team PEACE

stayed up way tooo late last night so was a bit tired when i woke up this morning! as today ran one team went to help a family and a few of us stayed here! we bagged bread, me n brother (spenc) cleaned dishes, prayed w/ people. thats my day n a nutshell )!
so am i ready to face a challenge n my life? do i thoink/know god is bigger than it? is it goin to b hard YES, am i ready YES!
